Our Services
Three services, one steady practice
Each service is built around the way pension matters actually work — with clear steps, written outputs, and no surprises on the invoice.
Back to HomeOur Methodology
How we approach every matter
Every service at Perisai Law follows the same underlying method: understand the situation fully, explain it clearly, and help you move forward at a pace that feels right.
Listen
We start by understanding your situation without rushing to a conclusion.
Review
We examine the documentation and identify what the relevant rules say.
Explain
We give you a clear, honest picture of where you stand and what options exist.
Support
We carry out the agreed work carefully, keeping you informed throughout.
Service 01
Benefits Assessment
RM 155
A structured look at your pension arrangements and any recent changes, so you can see clearly where you stand. This service suits people who feel uncertain about a decision that has been made, or who suspect a shortfall but are not sure what to do next.
The assessment includes a plain-language written note summarising what we found and what, if anything, you may wish to consider. There is a calm conversation about possible next steps — and no pressure to commit to further work.
What is included:
- Review of current pension documentation
- Assessment of recent decisions or correspondence
- Written plain-language summary note
- Follow-up conversation about next steps
Process steps:
- Submit your documents and we will confirm receipt within one business day
- We review and prepare a written assessment (typically 3–5 working days)
- We send the written note and arrange a short call to discuss it
- You decide what, if anything, to do next — no obligation
Service 02
Appeal & Dispute Support
RM 620
Steady help preparing and lodging an appeal against a pension decision, including gathering the necessary documents and meeting formal deadlines on your behalf. We manage the correspondence with the relevant authority and explain each development as it happens.
Fee arrangements are set out plainly and agreed in writing before any work begins. If the matter becomes more complex than anticipated, we discuss any change in scope with you before proceeding.
What is included:
- Assessment of the grounds for appeal
- Document gathering and preparation
- Formal appeal or objection lodging
- Correspondence management throughout
- Regular updates on progress
Process steps:
- Initial review of the decision being challenged
- Written engagement letter confirming fee and scope
- Document gathering and preparation of appeal submission
- Lodging with the relevant authority
- Monitoring and reporting until outcome received
Service 03
Retirement Planning Counsel
RM 370
Considered advice for protecting retirement income over the longer term, covering entitlements, beneficiary arrangements, and documentation. A supportive choice for people who value ongoing, unhurried guidance rather than a single transactional meeting.
We keep language simple throughout and decisions firmly in your hands. Where matters touch on areas outside legal advice — such as financial planning — we say so clearly and can suggest where to look.
What is included:
- Review of entitlements and any gaps
- Beneficiary arrangements and documentation
- Plain-language written summary
- Ongoing availability for follow-up questions (within scope)
Process steps:
- Initial conversation to understand your situation and goals
- Review of relevant documents and entitlement records
- Written counsel note covering key areas
- Discussion session — unhurried, at your pace
- Follow-up available if questions arise from the written note
